After 10 years of triathlon racing, I received the invitation of my dreams. On October 27, 2013 I will be racing the Xterra World Championships in Maui, Hawaii.

September 24, 2011 many of my dreams came true.

I had the opportunity to race the Xterra USA

Championships with Lance Armstrong. I finished

13th in the nations in the 45-49 age group.

And The Adventure is Complete

I can't be me without throwing out a goal of a sub 15 hour time. That was one year ago. Before taking the start line on the beach sub 14 was my new goal. As I worked my plan, things came together. A 1 hour and 25 minute, 2.4 mile swim started things off well. A 6 hour and 15 minute bike split added to the success and a 5 hour and 38 min run added up to a 13 hour and 42 minute announcement of Todd Poole, "You are a 2x Ironman!" What a great feeling it was.
